Results (Arth-Manthan, 2006)
Arth-Manthan 2006 saw widespread participation from colleges across Mumbai.
Some of colleges which participated include Dahanukar College, K.V.
Pendharkar College, K.J. Somaiya, Jhunjhunwala College, Nagindas Khandwala
College, R.A. Podar College, Ruia College, Swami Vivekanand College and
Wilson College. This year students from the Dept. of Economics and Civics
and Political Science at the University of Mumbai also participated in
Arth-Manthan.
JUDGES
The events were judged by faculty from the different colleges, the
University of Mumbai and Tata Institute of Social Sciences, the American
Information Resource Centre, Mani Bhuvan and executives from NGOs and
leading advertising agencies like JWT. They appreciated the originality and
innovative theme of the festival.
PRIZE DISTRIBUTION
Prize
distribution was done by Ila Bhate, leading Marathi actress, and B. Sriram,
Deputy General Manager, State Bank of India. Samira Gujar, film actress,
also attended the festival and spent time with the participants.
